Grapes: Barbera. Ageing: in barrels and
barriques for 12 months. Refinement: in bottles
for 6 months. Alcohol content: 13,5% vol.
Serving temperature: 18°C. Characteristics.
Colour: ruby red with flashes of purple due to
the very beneficial abundance of anthocyanogens.
Bouquet: vinous, intense, with a fragrance of
violets turning to maraschino cherry, spices,
liquorice and tobacco on a slightly vanilla
background. Taste: robust, dry, vinous with
acidity and tannins balanced by the warm alcohol
and considerable structure. Serving suggestions:
a wine for medium or long ageing suitable for
all tables.
