Grape: Nebbiolo coming from Neive and Treiso in the province of Cuneo and harvested in the very first days of October.
Wine making traditional method, twelve days long with daily pumping over and steady punching-down at 30-35°C, to facilitate grape colour extraction, then racked, after five months in stainless steel tanks, afterwards two years maturation in oak barrels and finally aged.
Tasting profile: middle intensity ruby red in colour, with garnet reflections; flowery fragrance with particular wild rose, raspberry and cinnamon hints, dry taste with vanilla, leather and tobacco tang. Rich in extract: 31 g/l.
Food pairings: this wine matches very well with red meats and cheeses, besides it is perfect as sipping wine.
Alcoholic content 14,4% vol.
